Profile Pictures
Say cheese! Profile pictures are a great way to let people met you. Putting a face to your work is very important as people want to know all about the person behind their favorite pieces (we are talking about you!) A head shot or picture of you at work are our suggested profile pictures. Your work is nicely highlighted in your listing so we strongly suggest that you do not show one of your pieces as your profile picture. Please ensure that your profile pictures are not of mature content, can be deemed as inappropriate or violate the Terms of Use. When choosing your profile picture think of what you would want your potential clients to see (a professional artist with a welcoming smile!)

Tagging
Tagging has become a term much more widely used and understood since the world of blogging took off. Tagging is adding descriptive terms to pages, posts, pieces ect. So that Internet users can find what they are looking for. Search engines look for these tags to serve up relevant data to the user. Just like an external search engine, Artistically Connected’s search operates the same. This is why it is important that you tag your work appropriately. Tags can and should include the colour and content with each word separated with a comma. For example: blue, red, abstract.
Please note that miss-tagging your work is not permitted on Artistically Connected. Also note that these tags are used for Internet wide searches so the internet search engines they find that your work is being shown under inappropriate tag they too will stop serving your work up to the searcher.
